I would maybe buy siome just to see how they comapre to other minis in my collection.Derekhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10541611128064822330noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2337435450368035570.post-47466319303103179952012-08-15T07:10:07.935-06:002012-08-15T07:10:07.935-06:00I would say you and I have some historical gaming ...I would say you and I have some historical gaming to do Aaron. :)

*glances at his shelved Carthaginians*Jonathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17008146232006674730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2337435450368035570.post-74831221001568283072012-08-15T06:49:35.128-06:002012-08-15T06:49:35.128-06:00Great point about about the technology advancement...Great point about about the technology advancements and rules Ian.

The thing I like about the Cran Tarra figures is that they are to scale (so they claim), rather than just an arbitrary height (6mm, 15mm, 28mm). Which means, in theory anyway, there won't be any gigantic hands, weird sized weapons, etc.

Having said that, I won't be playing any games with these models because of the size. I just like the sculpts and will probably paint three or four of them for display. :)Jonathanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17008146232006674730noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2337435450368035570.post-59076735207778154872012-08-15T01:01:26.794-06:002012-08-15T01:01:26.794-06:00I think you can get away with longer time lines th...I think you can get away with longer time lines the further back in history you go. AHunt also makes a very valid point regards sales.

Those figures do look good but why 33mm, this stretching is just going to far.

IanIanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17113835961977211021noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2337435450368035570.post-52361815481408061342012-08-14T18:36:34.330-06:002012-08-14T18:36:34.330-06:00The only problem with rules for a specific era is ...The only problem with rules for a specific era is that the rules writer is going to have a much smaller sales base. In theory they should capture the flavor of that era better and be more satisfying to someone who wants to game it.

I have Dux Brit, by the way.
